The board discussed a change to the meeting time to ensure uniformity. They also reviewed two text amendments: TX26.09.02, regarding zoning compliance inspections for new developments, which was approved; and TX26.09.03, regarding an update to the pool ordinance. The latter discussion focused on definitions distinguishing swimming pools from hot tubs and spas, as well as establishing setback requirements for pool-related structures like decking and aprons. Due to concerns regarding the clarity of the language and diagrams for the pool ordinance, the board requested the inclusion of diagrams in the documentation before final approval.
