Outbreak Response Technical Consultant - EpiC Mozambique (Request for Proposal) *Re-bid*
To support Owner's GHS-focused project with implementation of global health security activities in Mozambique through in-person and/or virtual technical assistance, the consultant will support the following areas: Support the EpiC Mozambique team and the sub-national health authorities to strengthen the capacity of provincial and district level PHEOCs and any other Public Health Emergency Management (PHEM) coordination mechanisms. Coordinate EpiC's outbreak response support with the technical team to ensure activities are harmonized across technical areas (POE, IPC, RCCE, Surveillance, Laboratory), are in alignment with the workplan, and are responsive to government priorities. Track the broader partner and donor landscape for outbreak response and public health emergency management in Mozambique to ensure EpiC's support is aligned and responsive, complements rather than duplicates other initiatives, and is visible and recognized as a technical contributor.
